Revelation 8:1 - After the seventh seal was opened there was no noise for a half of hour in heaven; [Turker's Comment: The breaking of the seventh seal was of great importance.]
Revelation 8:2 - I saw seven angels standing with God; they were each given a trumpet. [Turker's Comment: Angels were given trumpets for heralding.]
Revelation 8:3 - Another angel stood before the altar, holding his censer of wrought gold which exuded incense, so that it could be offered together with the prayers of saints before the throne. [Turker's Comment: Don't know which part of the Bible this is from, but it just sounds like any kind of ceremony, except for the presence of an Honest-to-God angel.]
Revelation 8:4 - The smoke from the incense was lifted with the saints’ prayers and drifted up in front of God from the angel’s hand.
Revelation 8:5 - The angel has taken the censer, put fire in it coming from the altar, and they threw it on the earth. Then there appeared peals of thunder, roaring sounds and flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. [Turker's Comment: It's about the time the angels took the censer and what happened after they did it.]
Revelation 8:6 - And those same seven angels, each with a trumpet, positioned themselves to play jubilantly. [Turker's Comment: I believe it has something to do with the Holy Bible in the book of Revelation. When the angels sound their trumpet, it will signify that something has been completed or finished. This is meant by the number 7.]
Revelation 8:7 - The first angel sounded and behind this sound came hail and fire and blood to the earth: a full third of the trees was burnt along with all of the green grass. [Turker's Comment: When the first angel came, a third of nature was destroyed along with raining hail and fire and blood.]
Revelation 8:8 - The second of the angels sounded and it seemed like a huge volcano had been thrown into the sea: a third of the sea turned into blood;
Revelation 8:9 - A third of all living marine animals died and a third of all ships were destroyed. [Turker's Comment: Must refer to a great disaster. Maybe a tsunami or hurricane?;]
Revelation 8:10 - The third angel called out and a great star fell from heaven burning like fireworks and it fell on the rive and the fountain of water;; [Turker's Comment: An angel causes fire to come from heaven;]
Revelation 8:11 - The name of the star is bitterness, so a third of the waters became infected with bitterness, and many people died from drinking the waters that had been made bitter. [Turker's Comment: Wormwood is the name of a category of plants that have been used in liquors to add a bitter flavor.]
Revelation 8:12 - The fourth angel came forth and a third of the sun, moon and the stars was darkened, the day and the night did not shine. [Turker's Comment: When the fourth angel came, a third of the world was dark.]
Revelation 8:13 - And I looked and heard an angel flying through the sky proclaiming loudly, Suffering and sadness will come upon those who live on the earth because of the trumpets of the three angels that have not yet sounded. [Turker's Comment: The author is warning the people of the earth that great suffering is still yet to come.]
