The Bible According To Mechanical Turk Workers

Revelation 20:1-10

Revelation 20:1 - Before me an angel descended from heaven, holding the key to the endless pit and a large chain. [Turker's Comment: An angel came down with the ability to save you from the pit or chain you to it.]

Revelation 20:2 - He grabbed the dragon, the wyrm that is the Devil, and Satan, and tied him up for a thousand years.

Revelation 20:3 - Put him in a dungeon and don’t let him lie to anyone for 10.0000 years but then for a short period of time let him go. [Turker's Comment: He will be shut up and kept from everyone for a while but not forever.]

Revelation 20:4 - My eyes beheld the thrones in which they sat upon as the judgement was given unto them; those who lived and reigned with Christ woudl do so for a thousand years; they were the souls of them which were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and the word of God; [Turker's Comment: This was taken from revelations and it is not easy to rewite. It tells of a vision given to John.]

Revelation 20:5 - The first resurrection did not occur for a thousand years. [Turker's Comment: Zombies have to wait a while;]

Revelation 20:6 - Every person who is involved in the first resurrection of bodies is extremely happy and pure: the second death won’t have any influence on them at all, but they are going to be able to speak to God and Jesus directly face-to-face and will live with Jesus; [Turker's Comment: When the rapture occurs, those who truly have Jesus inside will be resurrected first before the tribulation. The second death will be the final time of death when no one has any more chances to turn to God. God's children will be like priests, able to dir;]

Revelation 20:7 - When a millennium has passed, Satan will be set free from his prison. [Turker's Comment: In a thousand years, Satan will be free.]

Revelation 20:8 - And will go forth and mislead the peoples of the four qaurters of the land, Gog, and Magog, to unite them in battle: as many as the sand in the sea. [Turker's Comment: There will be deceit and ultimately a great battle.]

Revelation 20:9 - They tried to take over the dwelling of the saints, and they were struck down by God from heaven. [Turker's Comment: Villains are being defeated by God for doing villainous things.]

Revelation 20:10 - And Satan, who deceived them, was thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the Beast and the False Prophet were, and will be tortured day and night eternally. [Turker's Comment: The climax of Revelations where the devil gets his due.]

Revelation 20:11-15

Revelation 20:11 - And the earth and heaven hid themselves from the man I saw sitting on a large white throne; they could not be found. [Turker's Comment: The author saw God on the Judgment Seat, and nothing in the heavens or on Earth could withstand His scrutiny.]

Revelation 20:12 - I saw the dead, common and great, standing before God. The books were opened. The book of life was opened and the dead were judged from what was written within it. [Turker's Comment: God judged all for the deeds they committed, recorded in the Book of Life.]

Revelation 20:13 - The oceans returned the bodies of those who had died there; and death and hell returned their dead: and each person was judged by their actions. [Turker's Comment: Each person who has died was to be judged by his actions.]

Revelation 20:14 - Death and hell were destroyed in a reservoir of fire. This the end of death. [Turker's Comment: This is a scripture from the Bible. It means that there will be no more death and people will live forever in the afterlife in Heaven.]

Revelation 20:15 - Anyone who’s name was not in the book of life was thrown into a lake of fire. [Turker's Comment: Those not in the book of life were destroyed.]
