The Turker’s Gospel

Revelation 14:1 - And as I looked I saw a lamb standing on mount Sion with One Hundred and Forty Four Thousand more, each with his Father’s name written on their foreheads. [Turker's Comment: I believe it means that 144000 lambs who wore God's name without reserve will stand on mount Sion.]

Revelation 14:2 - Then I heard from the sky a voice which sounded like great water moving or maybe thunder and i heard the music of harps being played. [Turker's Comment: The person heard a grand voice equal to many waters, thunder, and harps from heaven.]

Revelation 14:3 - And they sung a new song before the Throne, and before the four beasts, and the Old Ones; and no man was able to learn the song except for the 144,000 who had been saved from the Earth. [Turker's Comment: Revelations. The 144,000, referred to in the teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses, who are the only humans left after the winnowing of the End Times.]

Revelation 14:4 - These are men who have never had sexual relationships with women; they are virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were chosen from men, and now they are the first choice for God and the Lamb. [Turker's Comment: This scripture is from the Bible. I think it means that these people are pure and dedicated to God.]

Revelation 14:5 - And in their mouth was no trace of deceit: becuase there is no fault before the throne of god. [Turker's Comment: they did not speak of blaspheme, for they knew they came in the name of god.]

Revelation 14:6 - In the midst of heaven, with everlasting gospel preaching unto those that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred and tongue and people, I saw another angel. [Turker's Comment: He (whom is an angel) was in heaven, looking back at earth watching them preach the gospel, and saw another angel.]

Revelation 14:7 - He exclaimed to them that they should accept that the only salvation is through God and the time has come: He made all that is and all that ever will be. [Turker's Comment: there is only one way to salvation;]

Revelation 14:8 - Another angel appeared saying Babylon is no more. What once was a great city has spoiled all other lands by her sins. [Turker's Comment: Civilizations will perish if we don't learn from the lessons of the past.]

Revelation 14:9 - Then the third angel came, and announced very loudly, that anyone who received the symbol on his hand or his face would be worshiping the beast and accepting the mark of the beast. [Turker's Comment: I think this is from the book of Revelations, but the mark of the beast could be anything, from a computer chip, to a number, or anything yet to be invented. I have heard that the mark of the beast is 666 and I have also heard many years ago that all com;]

Revelation 14:10 - This type of person will be punished by God. God’s judgement is not diluted and he will judge harshly in the presence of those who are worthy to witness it. [Turker's Comment: It is certainly saying that judgement of someone or some type of person or group of people will be made and punishment meted out in the presence of those who are clean.]

Revelation 14:11 - And the smoke coming off the fires tormenting them rises up eternally: and they get no respite day or night, those who worshiped the Beast and his image, and anyone who took the mark of his name.

Revelation 14:12 - The patience of the saints is as described: that they keep the commandments of the Lord, and the faith of his Son, Jesus Christ. [Turker's Comment: Just replaced the words with something else in this one. These are fun, by the way.]

Revelation 14:13 - I command you to Write, Blessed are the dead that perish in the presence of the Lord from henceforth. This is what a voice from heaven said to be. I understand, said the Spirit, let them rest for the are tired from their work. [Turker's Comment: I think the sentence is saying that he blesses those who die in the presence of the Lord from now on.]

Revelation 14:14 - I saw a someone on a white cloud that resembled the Son of man, and he was wearing a golden crown and holding a sharp sickle. [Turker's Comment: It seems like the speaker saw the king of death.]

Revelation 14:15 - And another angel came out of the temple, shouting with a loud voice to the guy sitting in the cloud, charge forward with your sickle and reap. For the time has arrive for you to gather the harvest of the earth. They are waiting for you. [Turker's Comment: The end of the world is coming.]

Revelation 14:16 - He sat upon the cloud and thrust his sickle onto the Earth and harvested it. [Turker's Comment: God is collecting the souls of the worthy.]

Revelation 14:17 - Another angel came down from the temple of heaven, and in his hand he held a sickle of exceeding sharpness. [Turker's Comment: Revelations, definitely. I think my sentence is better.]

Revelation 14:18 - And another angel issued from the altar, which was able to control fire; and proclaimed with a loud voice to the one with the sharp scythe, Thrust in with your sharp scythe, and harvest the fruit of the earthly vines; those grapes are wholly ripe. [Turker's Comment: Revelations, again? ripe grapes being a metaphor for the faithful?;]

Revelation 14:19 - The angel pushed his sickle into the ground, gathered some vines, and threw it in to the wrath of God.

Revelation 14:20 - And the winepress was walked on outside the city, and blood was pressed out of it, it reached all the way up to the horses necks, for about 322 kilometers. [Turker's Comment: The winepress is a symbolic one, there is so much blood that it reaches to the height of horses necks.]
