8:1 - People began to follow him in great numbers when he had finished speaking on the mountain.
8:2 - The Lord answered Thou wilt maketh you clean Leper.
8:3 - And Jesus reached out and touched him, saying Of course I will. Be cleansed. And he was healed instantaneously.
8:4 - And Jesus told him, Don’t tell anybody; but go on your way, visit the priest, and give him the gift that Moses wanted you to give him, as a witness for them.
8:5 - When Jesus entered Capernaum, a Centurion came to him asking for help.
8:6 - They tell the lord about their sick servant, in bed with palsy.
8:7 - And Jesus said to him, I’ll come with you and will heal him.
8:8 - The centurion replied humbly, I am only a man and unworthy for you to enter my home. But I believe that your words are powerful and will heal my servant without even being there.
8:9 - Because I am a man with authority, with soldiers serving under me; and I can tell a man to go and he goes, or I can tell a man to come and he comes, or I can my servant to do something and he does it.
8:10 - When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to everyone around him, Truthfully I tell you, I haven’t found anyone with this much faith, not even in Israel.
8:11 - I’m telling you this, In heaven, people from around the world will sit with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
8:12 - There will be trial and tribulation for the people.
8:13 - Jesus said to the centurion, go, since you have believed that I could so, it will be done. His servant was healed within the hour.
8:14 - Jesus went to visit Peter, and found his mother-in-law bedridden with fever.
8:15 - And as soon as he touched her hand, her fever was gone, and she got up and took care of them.
8:16 - During the evening, possessed people came to him and he exercised the demon out of them and made them healthy.
8:17 - Prophet Esaias took peoples infirmities and bared their sicknesses.
8:18 - Now when Jesus saw huge crowds around him, he gave directions to move to the other side.
8:19 - A scribe came to him and said, Master, I’ll follow you wherever you go.
8:20 - And Jesus told him, The foxes have holes, and the birds have nests but the Son of Man has nowhere to sleep.
8:21 - Another disciples asked, Lord, let me be the first to suffer and go bury my father.
8:22 - Jesus told him to follow and let the dead bury their dead.
8:23 - He boarded the ship, and his disciples followed him.
8:24 - While he was asleep, a great wave arose from the sea, and washed over the ship.
8:25 - Lord will save his disciples upon perishing.
8:26 - And He said to them, What are you afraid of, you of so little faith? Then, He got up, and chided the wind and sea, which then calmed considerably.
8:27 - The men marveled at the way the sea and the wind obeyed this strange man.
8:28 - When he came to the other side of the Gergesenes, he met two possessed with devils coming out of tombs, so fierce that man could not pass.
8:29 - They cried out, What have we got to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Did you come here to torment us before the time?
8:30 - In the distance, there was a group of pigs eating.
8:31 - So the demons begged him saying, If you are going to send us away, let us go into the herd of pigs.
8:32 - And he told them to go. And when they left, they joined a herd of pigs, then the entire herd swarmed down a steep embankment into the water, and drowned in the sea.
8:33 - And the people that kept them left, and went to the city, and told everything that happened to the man who was possessed with demons.
8:34 - And all the people in the city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their shores.
