The Turker’s Gospel

3:1 - John the Baptist,was found preaching in the Judaea wilderness.

3:2 - Repent your sins now; the kingdom is heaven is here.

3:3 - This is the man that the prophet Esaias spoke of when he said that one person shall speak out and that you should make his way easy, for he is the Lord.

3:4 - That same John had a coat made out of camel’s hair, and a leather band around his waist and abdomen; He would eat grasshoppers and wild honey.

3:5 - Jerusalem, Judaea, and all around Jordan went to see him.

3:6 - In Jordan they were cleansed of him when they confessed to their sins.

3:7 - But when he noticed many pf the Pharisees and Sadducees came to his baptism, he said to them, All you slimeballs, who warned you to run away from them fury that’s coming?

3:8 - Bring with you the items that are appropriate to give in repentance.

3:9 - And don’t think to yourselves, We have Abraham as our forefather: I tell you that God can create descendants for Abraham from these rocks if he wants to.

3:10 - In the orchards, when a tree is barren, it is cut down and cast into the fire.

3:11 - I will baptize you with water because of your repentance, but the one that is coming after me is greater than me, and I am not even worthy to touch, or carry his shoes: He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire:

3:12 - He will hurn up the chaff with his hand and he will purge his floor while gathering wheat into the garner.

3:13 - Then Jesus went from Galilee to Jordan, to be baptized by John.

3:14 - But John stopped Him, asking, I need to be baptized by You, not the other way around. Why do You ask me to do this?

3:15 - You must suffer to eventually receive a righteous path.

3:16 - When Jesus was baptized, he went directly up out of the water: as a result, the heavens opened for him and he saw the spirit of God come down upon him like a dove and land on him.

3:17 - And a voice from heaven was heard, which said, This is my beloved Son, who has my approval.
