22:5 - They agreed to pay him because he had made them happy.
22:6 - And he pledged, and looked for the chance to betray him outside the sight of the large group.
22:7 - Passover must be killed on the day of unleavened bread.
22:8 - And he told Peter and John, Leave us and fix the passover, so that we will be able to eat.
22:9 - And he said to him, Where do you want us to get ready?
22:10 - And He said to them, Listen, when you have entered the city, a man will come to meet you with a pitcher of water; follow him into whatever house he enters himself.
22:11 - You will ask the host where the guest room is.
22:12 - He will provide you a furnished room upstairs to use to prepare yourself.
22:13 - They went ahead of him and found everything just the way he had said they would: there they prepared the passover supper.
22:14 - And when the time had come, he and his twelve apostles sat down.
22:15 - And he said to them: I have chosen to share this passover feast with you before I suffer:

22:25 - And Jesus told them that the kings of the Gentiles ruled them and those people who rule them are called benefactors.
22:26 - But you will not act that way: but of you he that is the oldest, let him act as one younger; and the one who is chief should act as the one who is his servant.
22:27 - For who is the man of higher position, the one who sits down to eat or the one who serves him his food? Isn’t the one sitting at the table a man of higher position than the server? Yet here I am with you as the server.
22:28 - You are who has followed me to my demise.
22:29 - And I give you a kingdom, as my Father has given one to me;
22:30 - Come feast with me in my kingdom and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.
22:31 - The Lord said, Simon, Simon, watch out! Satan wants to tear you apart as a farmer tears apart his wheat:
22:32 - I have prayed for you that your faith will not fail you: when you adapt to the belief you will be made stronger by your brothers.

22:37 - Because I say to you, that I have yet to achieve in me what is written, and he was reckoned by the oppositions: because things concerning me have an end.

22:42 - Saying, Father, take this cup away from me if you can, but if not, do what you want, not what I want.
22:43 - He saw an angel from heaven which gave him strength.

22:53 - When I was with you every day inside the temple you didn’t lay a finger on me, but this is your hour and you do evil things.
22:54 - They made him accompany them to the high priest’s house, then went inside. Peter trailed far behind.
22:55 - After they had started the fire in the hallway and were sitting down, Peter came and sat with them.
22:56 - A woman who was watching him as the fire glowed upon his face stated that he was definitely with Jesus.
22:57 - And he disowned him, saying, Woman I don’t know who he is.
22:58 - After some time had passed someone else say him and said, you are also with them. Peter told him that he was not.
22:59 - And about an hour later another conformation, telling you, it is true the other with him is a Galilaean.
22:60 - And Peter said, I don’t know what you’re talking about. And immediately, as he spoke, the rooster crowed.
22:61 - And God spun around and gazed directly at Peter. Peter then recalled what Jesus had said, that before the rooster had crowed in the morning, that Peter would deny knowing him three times.
22:62 - Peter then went outside to cry bitter tears.

22:65 - They ridiculed and blasphemed him mercilessly.
22:66 - When the day came, the elders, priests, and scribes all came together and led him to their judgement, saying,
22:67 - Are you really the Savior? they asked. He answered by saying, If I tell you, you will not believe me.
22:68 - Furthermore, if I ask you, do not answer me and do not let me go.
22:69 - From now on, the Son of man will be the right hand man for God.
22:70 - They asked him if his father was God, and he said, Well, you say I am, so I guess so.
22:71 - And they said, What other proof do we need? We heard him say it.
