John 3:1-10

John 3:1 - Nicodemus, a man from the Pharisees ruled over the Jewish people.

John 3:2
- They came to Jesus at night and said to him: Rabbi, we know you are a teacher sent by God, for no man could do the miracles you do unless he had been sent by God.

John 3:3 - Jesus responded to the question by saying, Truly, truly, I am telling you, that unless a man is reborn he will not be able to witness God’s kingdom.

John 3:4 - Nicodemus said to him, How can a man be reborn when his old? Can he be born again from his mother’s womb?

John 3:5 - Jesus answered, saying I tell you truly that no man may enter Heaven unless he is born of water and born again, spiritually.

John 3:6 - Flesh begets flesh, whereas the soul begets soul.

John 3:7
- Do not be amazed by what I said, you must be reborn.

John 3:8
- The wind alone knows its direction and you hear only the sound of its passing, and so it is for those who would follow the Spirit.

John 3:9
- Nicodemus asked, how can this be possible?

John 3:10 - Jesus answered by saying, You’re supposed to be an expert of Israel but you don’t know these things?

John 3:11-20

John 3:11 - Truly, truly, I tell you that we’re speaking about what we actually know and we’re testifying to what we’ve actually seen; and yet you’re not accepting what we say.

John 3:12 - If I tell you things about earth, and you don’t believe me, how will you ever believe me if I tell you things about heaven?

John 3:13 - And the only man who went up to heaven is one who came down from heaven, the son of man who is in heaven.

John 3:14 - The Son of man must be lifted because Moses lifted up the serpent into the wild.

John 3:15 - Whoever believes in him will not die. They will live forever.

John 3:16 - God loved the people of the world so much that he gave to them his only son, and whoever believes in the son will not die. Instead, they will live forever.

John 3:17 - God didn’t send His Son Jesus to condemn people, but rather He sent Jesus so that people could be saved through Jesus.

John 3:18 - The man who believes is not condemned: however, the man who does not believe is indeed condemned as he does not believe in the one and only Son of God.

John 3:19 - And the reason that men will go to Hell is because they pursued the bad things instead of the good that God sent into the world.

John 3:20 - Because all that commit evil doings despise the light and will not venture into the light lest they be punished for their bad actions.

John 3:21-30

John 3:21 - But he who acts in truth will come into the light so that his works will be made known, having been done in the Lord.

John 3:22 - After this Jesus and his followers entered into Judaea, where he stayed with the and baptized.

John 3:23 - John was also baptizing in Aenon, which is close to Salim, because there’s an abundance of water there, and the people came and were baptized.

John 3:24 - John has not been sentenced.

John 3:25
- Then some of John’s followers and the Jews started asking each other about the rules of purification.

John 3:26 - They went to John and said, Rabbi from beyond Jordan, you who has the barest witness, see the same baptism and all men will come to him.

John 3:27 - And John said to them, There is nothing a man has that is not been a gift from God.

John 3:28 - Listen when I tell you that I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

John 3:29
- The man to be married to the woman is the groom, but the friend who witnesses the groom is blessed to hear his voice and in this voice my joy is complete.

John 3:30 - He must add to, but I must take away.

John 3:31-36

John 3:31 - He that comes from heaven speaks of Heaven as he that is of the earth speaks of the earth.

John 3:32 - And he only told about the things he had seen and heard; and no one would believe his report.

John 3:33 - Anyone who has heard his words has set forth his acknowledgment that God is true.

John 3:34 - He was only able to say what God told him to say since he was only his messenger.

John 3:35 - The Father loves his son and has given everything to him.

John 3:36 - He that believes in the Son with have everlasting life, and he that does not believe in the Son will have the fury of God on him and not see life.
