John 15:1 - I am the real crop, and my Father the farmer.
John 15:2 - He takes away each of my branches that do not grow fruit. Each branch that does have fruit, he cuts away so that more fruit will grow.
John 15:3 - You don’t know what I’m talking about.
John 15:4 - Live in me, and I will live in you. In the same way that a branch cannot make grapes grow by itself, but needs the help of the vine; you cannot create new life, unless you live in me.
John 15:5 - I am the vine and you are the branches: Anyone that works together with me will produce plenty: Anyone that works against me will do nothing.
John 15:6 - If a man is not a part of Me, he will be thrown out like a separated branch which then whithers; and men will come and gather them and toss them into the fire to be burned.
John 15:7 - If you believe in me and what I tell you, you can ask for whatever you want, and you shall receive it.
John 15:8 - My Dad is a well respected community leader, for he contributes so much to it.
John 15:9 - I love you as my Father loved me. Continue to pass love along.
John 15:10 - If you follow my doctrine, you will have my love; just like I follow my Father’s doctrine, and I have his love.
John 15:11 - I have told you of my joy in you so that your joy would be full.
John 15:12 - I’m ordering you, Love each other the same way I loved you.
John 15:13 - There is no demonstration of love more profound than that of sacrificing yourself for your loved ones.
John 15:14 - If you do whatever I tell you to, you are my friends.
John 15:15 - You are not servants, you are my friends, and I have shared my knowledge with you.
John 15:16 - You may not like me, but I like you. I like you so much that I have decided you shall go forth, find a wife, and bear many children in the name of my father.
John 15:17 - This is something I am telling you to do, you should love each other.
John 15:18 - If the world dislikes you, you know that the world disliked me before they disliked you.
John 15:19 - If you were mortal, the world would love you, but because you are not, the world will hate you and I chosen to take you out of the world.
John 15:20 - Remember what I tell you, The servant is not better than his master. If they torment me, they will also torment you; if they accept what I say, they will accept what you say also.
John 15:21 - But they will do all this to you because of my name, because they don’t know who has sent me.
John 15:22 - They cannot hide their sin now that I have come and spoken about it.
John 15:23 - Hating me means that you hate my Father.
John 15:24 - If I hadn’t done those amazing miracles that no one else could do, they would not have sinned: but now they have seen the miracles and hated me and my Father.
John 15:25 - But this is happening now, the prophecy is being fulfilled, They hated me for no reason.
John 15:26 - I will send the Comforter from the Father to you along with the Spirit of truth which also comes from the Father, then he will say of me:
John 15:27 - And you will tell others what has happened because you have been with me since the beginning.
