John 14:1 - Don’t sweat the details. God will take care of it, and so will I.
John 14:2 - Where my Father has his house, there are many mansions: I would not lie to you about this. I am leaving to make room for you.
John 14:3 - And if I travel first and make a place for you, I will come back and retrieve you so that we will be together forever.
John 14:4 - And you know where I am going, and you know how to get there.
John 14:5 - Thomas spoke to the Lord saying, How are we supposed to know where to go if we don’t know where you’re going?
John 14:6 - Jesus is the only way to heaven.
John 14:7 - If you have known me, you should know my Father too: and from now on you know him, and you have seen him.
John 14:8 - Philip asked the Lord to show us the father and we will be satisfied.
John 14:9 - Jesus asked, Have I been with you this long and you still don’t know me, Philip? The person that sees me has seen God; so how can you ask me to show you God?
John 14:10 - You don’t believe that the Father and I are together. What I say and do is the father and I as one.
John 14:11 - Have faith that the Father and I are one and, if you cannot manage that, at least believe in the good of the work we do.
John 14:12 - There is truth when I tell you that He who believes in me will be able to do what I can do, and even greater thins because I will go to my Father.
John 14:13 - I promise to do whatever you ask in my name so that the glorious Father is seen in me.
John 14:14 - If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
John 14:15 - If you love me, obey my doctrine.
John 14:16 - I pray the Father provide you with one who will stand beside you forever.
John 14:17 - The world cannot take in the Spirit of truth because it is blind and unknowing to the Spirit, but you can know him as he is within you.
John 14:18 - I will come and comfort you.
John 14:19 - But soon I will no longer be visible to anyone in the world. You’ll see me though, and because I live in your eyes you also will live.
John 14:20 - And then you’ll know that I am in God, and you’re in me, and I’m in you.
John 14:21 - Those who know my commandments and live by them are the ones I know that love me and if you love me you are loved by my Father as well.
John 14:22 - Judas asked him, not Iscariot, Lord, how will you be able to manifest in us but not into the world?
John 14:23 - Jesus told him in reply, If someone loves me, he will abide my words: if he does this my Father will love him in return and we will visit and make our home with him.
John 14:24 - Those that love me do not hold to my sayings: what you hear are not my words, but the Father’s through me.
John 14:25 - I have told you these things while I am with you.
John 14:26 - The Father will send you the Holy Ghost to comfort you and teach you all things and you will remember everything I have told you.
John 14:27 - I’m giving you My peace, which is different from the kind of peace you get in the world. Don’t be worried or afraid.
John 14:28 - You’ve heard me say to you that I’ll go away, and return to you again. If you truly loved me, you’d rejoice, because, as I said, I go to my Father; for my Father is greater than I am.
John 14:29 - And now I’ve told you before hand, so that when it does happen, you’ll believe me.
John 14:30 - After this I won’t talk with you often: the prince of this world approaches and is not with me.
John 14:31 - So that everyone may see my love for the Father; and I am passing his commandment on to you. Get up, let’s get going.
