John 17:11 - And now I am no longer an inhabitant of this world, but they are living in the world, and I have come to you. Holy Father, take care, through Your name, those that You have given Me charge over, that they may be united, even as We are.
John 17:12 - While I was living with them, I helped them stay true to you: I have kept all the followers you gave me on the right path, except the traitor; this is so all the prophecy can come true.
John 17:13 - And now I come to you to tell you these things, so that they can have all I have to offer and the joy it brings.
John 17:14 - I have told them your word; and the world has stopped them, because they are not part of the world, just as I am not of this world.
John 17:15 - I do not pray that you would take them out of this world, but that you would keep them from evil.
John 17:16 - They are not of this world just as I am not.
John 17:17 - Purify them with your truth: your word is the truth.
John 17:18 - As you have brought me into this world, so I have brought them into the world.
John 17:19 - I sanctify myself, for their sakes, that they, too, might be made holy through the truth.
John 17:20 - I’m not just praying for these disciples, but also for everyone who believes in Me because of what the disciples say.
