John 12:31 - Now this world will be judged: and now the tyrannical spirit of this world will be banished.
John 12:32 - And if I am raised up from the Earth, all men will become my followers.
John 12:33 - He stated specifically how he would die.
John 12:34 - The people answered, The law says that Christ lives forever, so how do you claim that the Son of man will be resurrected?? Who is the Son of man you speak of?
John 12:35 - Jesus asked them to walk with him while it was still light and he said, Walk in the light, for when darkness comes, a man knows not where he comes nor goes.
John 12:36 - Believe in the light that you have abiding in you by me to enable yourselves to be the children of the light, Jesus related to the people, after which he left and stayed to himself, hidden from them.
John 12:37 - Even though he had performed many miracles right before their eyes, they still did not believe in him:
John 12:38 - Will the prophecy of Esaias come true, Lord, for those who believed what we said? who will see the arm of the Lord?
John 12:39 - They couldn’t accept this belief because Isaiah had predicted,
John 12:40 - He had kept them from believing, but I will make them better.
