John 12:21 - Then those of Bethsaida of Galilee came to Philip and asked him, Sir may we visit with Jesus.
John 12:22 - Philip came and told Andrew: and then Andrew and Philip told Jesus.
John 12:23 - And Jesus replied to them, The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
John 12:24 - In all truth I tell you, a grain of wheat will produce no fruit unless it sinks into the ground and dies: but if it does die, it will produce a great deal of fruit.
John 12:25 - The person who loves his life will lose his life, and the person who hates his life in this world will be stuck with it forever.
John 12:26 - If anyone wants to be my disciple, let him follow in my footsteps; and wherever I am, there he will be too: if anyone serves me faithfully, my Father will give him his well-deserved reward.
John 12:27 - Now I am feeling afraid; but what should I say? Father, save me from this circumstance?: I mean, I didn’t come this far to back out.
John 12:28 - I asked the Father to glorify thy name. He responds that it has been done and will be done again.
John 12:29 - The nearby observers heard the sound. Some of them said they heard thunder, others said they heard an angel speaking to him.
John 12:30 - Jesus answered and said: This voice didn’t come because of me, but rather for your benefit.
