The Turker’s Gospel

The Bible According To Mechanical Turk Workers

Luke 23:1-10

23:1 - The crowd rose up and led him to Pilate.

23:2 - So they started saying he had committed treason by telling people not to worship or pay tribute to the King, Ceasar, who had said he was the savior.

23:3 - So Pilate asked hi, Are you really the King of all of the Jews? and he answered him by saying Well, you said so!

23:4 - Then Pilate said to the Chief Priests and the people, This man is innocent.

23:5 - And they were even more worked up and said, He is stirring up the people, teaching Jews in all the lands they occupy, beginning with Galilee and recently reaching this place.

23:6 - When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked if the man was from Galilee.

23:7 - The moment he knew he was in Herod’s district he sent him to Herod who was also in Jerusalem.

23:8 - Herod was very happy when he saw Jesus. He had wanted to see Jesus for a long time because he had heard a lot about Him, and he was hoping to see a miracle.

23:9 - Then he asked him a lot of questions; but he did not give an answer.

23:10 - All the chief priests and scribes stood up and hatefully blamed him.
