19:11 - As they heard this, he also told them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem, and because they thought the kingdom of God should appear immediately.
19:12 - He told a story of a nobleman who went to find his kingdom.
19:13 - He gathered all ten servants, paid them ten pounds, and told them to stay there till he returned.
19:14 - His own people despised him and sent word that would not accepts his rule.
19:15 - After he’d been given the kingdom and come back, he had others call his servants to him to see how much more money they had made off his original money while he was gone.
19:16 - The first came over and said, Lord, the pound that you gave me has been increased to ten pounds.
19:17 - And he said to him, Good servant, because you had one scintilla of faith, you will have governance over ten cities.
19:18 - The second person came and said, Lord, your pound has gained five pounds.
19:19 - And he also said to him, Be in charge of five cities.
19:20 - Another servant came to him and said, Master, here is the money you left with me, I have kept it safely hidden away for you:
