The Turker’s Gospel

The Bible According To Mechanical Turk Workers

Luke 18:21-30

18:21 - I have had these since I was a child.

18:22 - After hearing what he had to say, Jesus said, to him, you lack one thing; sell all of your possessions, give the money to the poor, so that you’ll have treasure in heaven, and then come and follow me.

18:23 - When he heard this, he was sorry: because he was very rich.

18:24 - It saddend Jesus that the rich will have such a hard time of getting into heaven.

18:25 - It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to get into heaven.

18:26 - Everyone who heard it said. Who can be saved?

18:27 - And he said, The tings that people cannot possibly do, are easy for God.

18:28 - Then Peter stated sardonically, good grief, we have left everything to follow you.

18:29 - He told them, Honestly, I tell you, Nobody who leaves anything (home or family or friends) for God’s sake,

18:30 - Who will get much more now and, in the world of the future, never-ending life.
