12:41 - Then Peter asked, Are you telling this tale to just us or to everyone?
12:42 - And the Lord said, who is that faithful and wise man whom his lord will make the master of his house, to give them their bit of meat when they need it?
12:43 - great is the servant that the lord finds doing good things when he comes.
12:44 - I’m telling you the truth when I say that he will make him the ruler of all that he has.
12:45 - If a particular servant, while saying to himself that his master is late in coming, begins to beat the men and women servants while he consumes food and drink enough to be drunken;
12:46 - The lord of that servant will come in a day when he does’nt expect him, and at an hour when he isn’t aware, and will cut him down, and will give him his portion with the unbelievers.
12:47 - And the servant, who knew the lord’s want, didn’t prepare himself, and did not do his will, will be beaten with many ropes.
12:48 - Those with innocence of the severity of their crimes receive light punishment. Whoever has the faculties of great intellect has a lot of responsibility, and whoever receives the trust of many men must return it many times over.
12:49 - I have promised to light the earth on fire, but what should I do if it is already lit up?
12:50 - But I am going to be baptized and I will be totally incomplete until it is accomplished!
