Luke 8:21-30

8:21 - My mother and by fellow believers hear and obey the word of God, he said.

8:22 - One day, Jesus and His disciples got on a boat and he instructed them to go to the other side of the lake, so they left the dock.

8:23 - He fell asleep as they sailed, and a storm came up, filling their boat with water and putting them in danger.

8:24 - They woke the Master saying, We’re going to die! Then he stood up and gave orders to the wind and raging water; they ceased and a sweet calm followed.

8:25 - Where did your faith go? He asked them. Scared and worried, they talked to each other wondering what kind of guy he was becaused even natures elements took orders from him.

8:26 - And they entered into the country of Gadarenes, whis right nex to Galilee.

8:27 - When he went out onto the land, he was met by a man who had been troubled by demons for a long time, and who wore no clothing, and who lived not in a house but in the tombs.

8:28 - When he saw Jesus, he dropped to his knees and cried out, in a loud voice, What have I done to you Jesus, Son of God most high? I beg you not to torment me.

8:29 - (For he had exorcised the evil spirit from the man. It seems the spirit had often possessed him: and he had to be bound with chains and fetters; and he would break his bonds, and be driven by the devilish spirit to flee into the wilderness.)

8:30 - Jesus asked him, What is your name? The man replied, Legion, because he had many demons.
