8:1 - After that he visited every city and town, teaching the gospel of God and Heaven with the twelve apostles,
8:2 - And some women, cured of illnesses and evil spirits, among them Mary, who was called Magdalene, out of whom left seven devils,
8:3 - Herod’s steward, Chuza had a wife Joanna who that together with Susanna and several others administered financial support from their own funds to Jesus.
8:4 - And when many people from all cities had come to him, he began to tell a story.
8:5 - A farmer went to plant his field, and as he did so he dropped some of his seed. The birds swooped down from above and ate it up.
8:6 - Some fell on a rock but as soon as the plant sprouted it died because it had no moisture.
8:7 - Some of the seeds got scattered on ground that had briers and the briers grew up around the little plants and prevented the little plants from growing.
8:8 - The other fell onto good soil and rooted and grew abundant fruit. When he said these things he cried so that anyone with ears could hear him.
8:9 - And his disciples asked him, what does this parable mean?
8:10 - And he said, you are given the gift of knowing the mysteries of the kingdom of God; whereas, characters in stories will see and not believe, or hear and not understand.
