The Turker’s Gospel

The Bible According To Mechanical Turk Workers

Luke 6:21-30

6:21 - The people who are hungry now are lucky because they will be fed. The people who weep now are lucky because they will be happy.

6:22 - You are exalted, when society hates, avoids, and disrespects you, and treat you as though you were evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

6:23 - Sing then, and dance: for you’ll be richly rewarded in heaven - it’s just like their fathers did to the prophets.

6:24 - But how unhappy are those that have money! for you have gotten your comfort.

6:25 - Sadness to those of you that are full! for you will find hunger. Sadness unto those of you that laugh now! for you shall soon cry and be sad.

6:26 - You need to beware, when everyone talks about how good you are! because their ancestors spoke the say way to those who were assumed prophets but were not.

6:27 - I say to the ones who hear me, Care for your enemies, and love them, only do good to those who do not like you.

6:28 - Give to those people that take from you and pray for the ones who hatefully use you.

6:29 - If someone hits you on one cheek, offer to let him hit your other cheek too; and if someone takes your cloak away, give him your coat also.

6:30 - Be generous and give to any man that asks you; if he takes your things do not ask him again.
