Matthew 18:21-30

18:21 - Peter came to the Lord and asked, So how many times should I let my brother sin against me? Is seven enough?

18:22 - Jesus told him, not just seven times but infinitely.

18:23 - Therefore, the kingdom of heaven if similar to a king, who looks after his servants.

18:24 - What is meant is that the sum was beyond human ability to pay And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

18:25 - Because he was unable to pay, his master had him, his family, and all their belongings sold to raise the required money.

18:26 - The servant asked for forgiveness for stealing.

18:27 - Then the servants master felt sorry for him, and set him free, and cleared his debt.

18:28 - Then the servant that had just been set free, went, and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred pence, and he grabbed him by the throat and said, Pay me what you owe me.

18:29 - His fellow slave collapsed at his feet and begged him, saying, Please have patience with me and I will pay you all.

18:30 - But he refused: and instead sent him to jail until he found a way to pay what he owed.
