10:1 - And when He had gathered together his twelve followers, He transfered to them power over unclean spirits, enabling them to exorcise such spirits, and power to heal all sorts of illnesses and diseases.
10:2 - These are names of the twelve apostles; Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew; The two sons of Zebedee, James and his brother John;
10:3 - Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
10:4 - Simon and Judas both betrayed him.
10:5 - Then Jesus sent twelve in, then told them, said, do not go in front of the Gentiles, and do not go into any city of Samaritans:
10:6 - Instead go forth to those missing from Israel’s fold.
10:7 - Wherever you go, spread the word that the kingdom of heaven is coming.
10:8 - Help those in need and pay it forward.
10:9 - Don’t keep valuables in your purses,
10:10 - Or plan your trip, not two coats, or shoes, because the worker deserves to be fed.
