9:31 - His name and fame were mentioned from near and far.
9:32 - When they left, look, they took him a man who couldn’t speak and was possessed.
9:33 - After the devil was expelled, the mute spoke: and the multitudes were surprised, saying, There has not been anything like this before in Israel.
9:34 - But the Pharisees said, He casts out devils with the power of Satan.
9:35 - Jesus went into the cities, and their surrounding villages, teaching to them in their synagogues, and speaking of the gospel of his kingdom, and making well those who were sick, and removing the diseases that had spread among the residents.
9:36 - But when He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion toward them, because they had succumbed to weakness, and were scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.
9:37 - Then He said to his disciples, There is so much to do, but so few people to do it.
9:38 - Pray that the Lord of the harvest will bring workers to his harvest.
