The Turker’s Gospel

The Bible According To Mechanical Turk Workers

Matthew 6:21-34

6:21 - Whatever you desire and pursue in life, your heart will worship as well.

6:22 - The eye is the light of the body: so if your eye is clear, your whole body will fill with light.

6:23 - But if what you see is evil, then your whole body is full of that kind of darkness. So, if the light that is in you is truly dark, it will be darker than any other!

6:24 - You can’t have two gods, because you’ll hate one and love the other.

6:25 - Not to worry about what to eat, drink,or wear, this life is a blink compared to our eternity in heaven.

6:26 - Consider the birds in the sky: they don’t plant, harvest, or store their food; but your Father in heaven gives them food. Aren’t you worth more than them?

6:27 - Which one of you, after thinking about it, can add 45.72cm onto his height?

6:28 - Why do you think of raiment? Why do you not think on the lilies out in the field, think of how the grow up; they do not toil or twirl.

6:29 - And through it all, even the extravagant Soloman, in his prime time of life, was no comparison to what I am telling you about now.

6:30 - If God clothes the fields with such beauty, which is here today and then thrown into an incinerator tomorrow, why would He not clothe you, you child of little faith?

6:31 - So, do not wonder Where will our food, drink or even our clothes come from?

6:32 - (And the Gentiles want all of these items:) God in Heaven understands that you need them.

6:33 - You should first look for God’s kingdom and his righteousness; then all these things will be given to you as well.

6:34 - Don’t think about what will happen the next day: since the next day will come along anyway. There are enough problems to deal with today.
