12:1 - And he started to tell them stories. A man planted a vineyard, fenced it in, dug a place to store the winefat, built a tower, rented it out, and traveled abroad.
12:2 - When the crops were ready, he sent a servant down to the farmer and the farmer was to give him some of the harvest.
12:3 - Captured and borne down upon, he was sent away with no resources left within himself.
12:4 - He sent to them another servant; and they pelted him with stones, leaving his head wounded, and sent him away, violated and ashamed.
12:5 - And he sent more men, but everyone he sent was either beaten or killed.
12:6 - Seeing as he had only one son whom he loved greatly, he offered him to them only at the very last, saying, they will respect my son.
12:7 - The inheritance shall be ours the heir said, come let us kill him,the husbandmen said among themselves.
12:8 - And they laid hold of him, and murdered him, and through him out of the vineyard.
12:9 - The lord of the vineyard will destroy the husbandmen and give the vineyard to others.
12:10 - Haven’t you read the scripture that says: The stone that was rejected by the builders is now the head of the corner.
