The Turker’s Gospel

The Bible According To Mechanical Turk Workers

Mark 8:1-10

Mark 8:1 - In those days the crowds were huge and there was no food, so Jesus called his disciples to come over and he said to them,

Mark 8:2 - I feel sorry for all these people, because they haven’t eaten a thing in the the past three days they’ve stayed here with me.

Mark 8:3 - Knowing that they were fasting and that the probability of them fainting was apparent they sent cars to pick them up.

Mark 8:4 - And his followers asked him, Where will we find food for all these people in this desolate place?

Mark 8:5 - They were asked how many loaves they had. Seven, was their answer.

Mark 8:6 - And he gave the command for all the people to sit on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and he prayed a prayer of thanksgiving, and broke the loaves, and gave it his disciples to set it before them; and they set the loaves before the people.

Mark 8:7 - They had a few very small fish; Jesus blessed these fish and arrayed them in front of the crowd.

Mark 8:8 - So they ate, and were satisfied, and the meat that was left filled seven baskets.

Mark 8:9 - And those that had eaten were about four thousand in number: and he sent them on their way.

Mark 8:10 - Christ and the Disciples got into a boat and went to Dalmanutha.
