Revelation 17:11 - The monster that was alive but is no longer, he is the eighth one, who is one of the seven, and he goes to be judged. [Turker's Comment: The beast is some kind of monster who is one of many like him, he goes to a place of judgment.]
Revelation 17:12 - And the ten trumpets you saw are ten rulers, which have not received their realms yet; but have received the power of ruling one hour with the beast. [Turker's Comment: There are rulers without kingdoms but full of power.]
Revelation 17:13 - These people, displaying their group think, will turn over all their personal power and political strength to the Beast. [Turker's Comment: A modern interpretation of the imagery in Revelations, interpreting the prose to describe a mesmerizing political figure sponsored by Satan.]
Revelation 17:14 - The demonds of the physical and mental status will challenge you; but you the Lamb of the Lord shall overcome them, for those that are with the Lord are faithful. [Turker's Comment: Believe in the Lord and you will be protected.]
Revelation 17:15 - And I was told by him, The waters that you saw, where the whore sits, are humans, and mobs, and nations, and different languages. [Turker's Comment: Different cultures and languages are all the same.]
Revelation 17:16 - The ten horns you saw upon the beast, they each hate the whore. Each horn shall make her naked and wounded and burn her with fire. [Turker's Comment: Each faction shall seek to destroy the rotted and corrupt state, the whore.]
Revelation 17:17 - God has forced them do what he wants, and to do so willingly, and to hand over their governments to the beast, until what God has said happens. [Turker's Comment: God is making the governments hand over their operations to the beast until He is finished doing what he plans to do.]
Revelation 17:18 - The woman you saw is the embodiment of that great city, that rules over all of the earth’s kings.
