Revelation 17:1 - And there appeared one of the seven angels that had charged of the seven vials, and it said to me Come here. I am going to show you the judgement of the Great Harlot whose throne is the oceans:; [Turker's Comment: More Revelations. One of the vial angels prepares to show John what happens to the symbolic whore (reference to sitting on waters escapes me, but I interpret the waters to be the oceans of the Earth).]
Revelation 17:2 - The inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication, with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication.
Revelation 17:3 - I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns in the spirit into the wilderness.So he carried me away
Revelation 17:4 - A purple and scarlet-clad woman, dressed in gold and jewels, held a golden cup which was filled with all the sins and filth of her fornication:; [Turker's Comment: Don't know what this refers to, either, and I wish I could have thought of a better synonym for fornication.]
Revelation 17:5 - These words were written on her forehead, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. [Turker's Comment: The harlot has these words written on her head.]
Revelation 17:6 - I saw a devout christian and I was greatly impressed. [Turker's Comment: salvation is achieved through great suffering;]
Revelation 17:7 - And the angel said to me Why do you wonder? I’ll tell you about the mystery of the woman, and the beast that carries her, which has seven heads and ten horns. [Turker's Comment: I think it's referring to revelations;]
Revelation 17:8 - The beast you saw is gone and will come up from the bottomless pit and go into perdition leaving the people wondering whose names were not written in the book of life from the beginning of time and they look at the beast that was gone, but is back again. [Turker's Comment: If your name is not in the book of life, the beast will come from the bottomless pit to claim your soul.]
Revelation 17:9 - here is the mind that has wisdom. the seven heads are seven mountains, in which the women sits
Revelation 17:10 - And where seven great rulers of kingdoms will exist: 71.43% of them exist no longer, and 14.29% of them still rule their sole kingdom, and the final seventh king will arrive in the future; and at the arrival of the seventh king, the ruler will be forced t; [Turker's Comment: This sentence foretells 7 kings. Most of the kings are dead and gone. The present day king is one of the seven kings mentioned. The last and future king will arrive and be forced to do keep doing something from the previous king for a short time.]
