Revelation 16:11-21

Revelation 16:11 - They cursed God for their various problems without remorse. [Turker's Comment: People who have had bad things happen to them blame God for their misfortunes, and as a result curse God and don't feel bad about it.]

Revelation 16:12 - Then the sixth angel emptied his vial into the great river Euphrates; and the water therein evaporated completely, as to prepare a highway for the Eastern Kings. [Turker's Comment: Revelations, and the vial angels;]

Revelation 16:13 - I saw three dirty, frog-like spirits that appeared from the mouths of a dragon, a beast, and a liar. [Turker's Comment: There are foul creatures that are coming out of the mouths of other foul creatures.]

Revelation 16:14 - The reason is because they are wicked spirits who perform sensational phenomena, and they go around visiting authoritative leaders and everyone else in the world in order to assemble an army for the big fight on that momentous day of our magnificent God. [Turker's Comment: The evil spirits are going to make things look really exciting, which will tempt the great leaders of the world. By their own sin nature, these powerful leaders will follow these spirits and actually end up fighting against God and God's people.]

Revelation 16:15 - Look, I come to you as a robber. You are blessed if you keep an eye out and keep hold of your clothes so that you do not walk around naked and shameful. [Turker's Comment: You should keep robbers from stealing your clothes, as nakedness is shameful.]

Revelation 16:16 - Armageddon is the place he sent them to. [Turker's Comment: He set up a meeting in Armageddon for his followers.]

Revelation 16:17 - And then the seventh angel emptied his vial into the air; and then a powerful voice came from the throne of the temple of heaven, saying, It is finished. [Turker's Comment: When the seventh angel emptied his vial, the voice said it was finished.]

Revelation 16:18 - There were voices, and storms; and there was a big earthquake, the biggest, greatest earthquake since man has been on earth. [Turker's Comment: Ever since the creation of man there had never been a bigger earthquake to come to the earth.]

Revelation 16:19 - The great city was divided into three parts, and the other cities around the world fell. Great Babylon came to remember God, and was forced to drink in the wrath of God. [Turker's Comment: Babylon was divided while all other cities fell into ruin, as God rains down judgment.]

Revelation 16:20 - And all natural formations vanished:; [Turker's Comment: Everything is destroyed.]

Revelation 16:21 - And it hailed greatly from the sky, each hailstone was about the size of a large coin, and the people cursed God because they were plagued by the hail, for it was a great hailstorm. [Turker's Comment: The sentence is speaking about a judgment from God.]
