Mark 6:41 - Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fishes, prayed over them to bless them, he then broke all of the food up and fed five hundred.
Mark 6:42 - And they all ate till they were full.
Mark 6:43 - Filling up twelve baskets, they had collected what was not eaten of the fish and the bread.
Mark 6:44 - The people that ate the loaves of bread numbered about five thousand.
Mark 6:45 - And immediately he urged his disciples to get aboard the ship, and go to the other side ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he was sending the people away.
Mark 6:46 - Once he told them to go, he left for the mountains to say his prayers there.
Mark 6:47 - Out in the middle of the sea sat the ship as evening arrived, and as for him, he was by himself on the shore.
Mark 6:48 - And he saw that they were completely absorbed in rowing, because the wind was against them, and around the time of the fourth watch of the night he approached them, walking on the water, and could have gone past them unnoticed.
Mark 6:49 - It totally freaked them out to see him walk on water, and they screamed because they thought they saw something supernatural.
Mark 6:50 - They were all disturbed when they saw him. He started talking to them right away, and said, Don’t worry; it’s me; don’t be scared.
