Revelation 10:1 - With feet as pillars of fire, a face as it were the sun, and a rainbow upon his head, the mighty angel, clothed with a cloud, came down from heaven. [Turker's Comment: The angel appears as a mighty force from heaven.]
Revelation 10:2 - He had a little book open in his hand: and he set his right foot in the sea and his left foot on the earth,; [Turker's Comment: He is coming down to Earth to give judgment.]
Revelation 10:3 - And he yelled out with a deafening sound, a lot like a lion does: when this happened, seven thunderous booming voices also spoke out. [Turker's Comment: This is what John saw on the Isle of Patmos. I believe the one who cries with a loud voice is Jesus, who had one foot on the land and one foot on the sea, and He is warning all the wicked of the world that all their evil will stop soon. Judgement has come;]
Revelation 10:4 - When the seven thunders had finished speaking, I was going to record what they said but I heard a voice from heaven telling me not to communicate the secrets I had heard. [Turker's Comment: Typical bunch of flowery run-ons. Basically the thunders finish talking and the author goes to write what they said, but is told not to.]
Revelation 10:5 - I saw the angel standing above the sea and earth hands lifted up in the direction of the heavens. [Turker's Comment: It sounds like a hallucination.]
Revelation 10:6 - And swear by Him who exists forever, who created Heaven, and the things within it, and the Earth, and the things on it, and the oceans, and the things within them, that there should no longer be Time… [Turker's Comment: A biblical reference, of course, someone's oath. A strong oath, swearing to God and invoking the end of Time.]
Revelation 10:7 - On the days that the voice of the seventh angel is heard, when he begins to speak, the enigma of God will be unraveled since he has unveiled his prophets to his servants. [Turker's Comment: When the seventh angel speaks we will understand god through his prophets.]
Revelation 10:8 - I forgot to take my Haldol this morning, and I had this weird auditory hallucination telling me to grab this book from some angel standing on the sea and the earth. [Turker's Comment: A diety is telling someone to seek out an angel with a book.]
Revelation 10:9 - I said to the angel, give me the book. And he said that the book may seem good, but it will poison your soul. [Turker's Comment: The angel warns our author that the book is not as pleasing at it appears.]
Revelation 10:10 - I grabbed the little book from the angel’s hand then ate it. It tasted sweet like honey, but after I swallowed it my stomach ached. [Turker's Comment: The author was told to eat a book, but was made sick after eating it.]
Revelation 10:11 - And he told me, you will have to foretell once more in front of many people, and governments, and languages, and rulers. [Turker's Comment: The speaker will have to preach to a lot of people in many lands, who speak many languages, and even speak to rulers.]
