Revelation 4:1 - I saw a door open in heaven and i heard a voice like a trumpet talking to me and it said ‘come here and i will show you what will happen next’. [Turker's Comment: A voice from heaven asks the speaker to come and see the future.]
Revelation 4:2 - Right away I found myself in the presence of the spirit and I saw a throne set in heaven and one sat on the throne. [Turker's Comment: It means that someone had a vision of going to heaven and being in the presence of the Lord.]
Revelation 4:3 - As he sat there he could see jasper and a sardine stone with a rainbow around the throne that sparkled like an emerald. [Turker's Comment: What he saw was beautiful and sparkling and the throne had a rainbow around it that looked like a halo.]
Revelation 4:4 - And around the Throne were twenty-four seats: and there were sitting in those seats twenty-four Old Ones, wearing white apparel; and they wore on their heads gold crowns. [Turker's Comment: More heavenly vision imagery from Revelations.]
Revelation 4:5 - And out of the throne came lightning and thunder and voices were heard: and seven lamps of fire burned in front of the throne, and these are God’s seven Spirits. [Turker's Comment: This is a scripture from the Bible describing the throne of God in heaven.]
Revelation 4:6 - In front of the throne there was a glass sea that looked like a crystal: and in the middle of the throne, and around the throne, there were four beasts with eyes in front and back. [Turker's Comment: This is a scripture in the Bible. It is describing Heaven.]
Revelation 4:7 - The first creature looked like a lion, the second like a baby calf, the third beast had a face with human features, while the fourth beast flew like an eagle. [Turker's Comment: There are four creatures, they are similar but each have a few unique characteristics.]
Revelation 4:8 - There were four monsters with six wings each; they had many eyes: they do not sleep, saying, Holy, holy, holy LORD God Almight which has always been and always will be.
Revelation 4:9 - When the creatures show their glory, honor and gratitude for the one who sat on the throne, who lives for all eternity, [Turker's Comment: The creatures revere the one on the throne;]
Revelation 4:10 - Twenty-four elders prostrated in front of the one on the throne to worship the eternal one, throwing him their crowns and saying, [Turker's Comment: The elders ceded their rule to him.]
Revelation 4:11 - God, you deserve to receive praise, respect, and power, because everything was created by you for your own pleasure. [Turker's Comment: God is the creator of all things, so therefore He deserves respect.]
