Revelation 2:11 - He that could hear could hear what the Holy Spirit said unto the churches; he that overcomes the suffering shall not die a second time. [Turker's Comment: Those who hear the Lord will not perish in the second coming or be denied the afterlife.]
Revelation 2:12 - The church of Pergamos had an angel who wrote; These things that are said are a double edged sword;
Revelation 2:13 - I know your work, where you live, and even where Satan’s throne is: you hold tightly to my name and have not denied my faith, even in those days when Antipas died for me where Satan lived. [Turker's Comment: God knows what you do and that you hold to your faith, even after the martyrdom of Antipas.]
Revelation 2:14 - I don’t like you, because there are people with you who believe in Balaam, who taugh Balac to mislead the Israelis into committing sins. [Turker's Comment: The author does not like a group of people because the worship a different god and are tricking the Israelis into sinning.]
Revelation 2:15 - Then you also have those that believe in the Nicolaitanes’ teachings, which I abhor.
Revelation 2:16 - If you don’t repent I will have to come down there and fight you with my words. [Turker's Comment: God will fight you with truth?;]
Revelation 2:17 - Those people who have ears, let them hear what the spirit says to the churches; Those that conquer, I will give the food and I will give him a white stone on which a new name will be written which nobody knows he can save. [Turker's Comment: Listen to what God is saying;]
Revelation 2:18 - Tell the Thyatirian angel this is what the Son of God says, the Son who’s eyes are like flames and feet like brass. [Turker's Comment: The angel is supposed to say something to thyatira;]
Revelation 2:19 - I know all the good things you have done. [Turker's Comment: This passage is a source of great confusion.]
Revelation 2:20 - Even so there are several things I hold against you, because you put up with the woman named Jezebel claiming to be a prophetess and teaching my followers to have sex and eat things that were sacrificed in the name of idols. [Turker's Comment: I hold it against you that you allowed Jezebel to teach the followers as though she was a prophet to sin.]
