Mark 6:1 - Jesus was followed by his disciples.
Mark 6:2 - When the sabbath day arrived, he was found to be teaching in the synagogue where many of those hearing him marveled and asked of each other, from where did this man come to know these things? and how has he obtained such wisdom that the things done by his hand are so powerful?
Mark 6:3 - Isn’t that the son of Mary who has other sons named James, Joses, Juda and Simon? Why aren’t those his sisters? The very ones offended by him.
Mark 6:4 - Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, in his own country and among his children, but also in his own home.
Mark 6:5 - And there was no great work for him there, except for laying hands on a few sick people and healing them.
Mark 6:6 - He was amazed at their unbelief, and then he taught at different villages.
Mark 6:7 - He asked the twelve to appear before him, and then sent them out in pairs to cleanse the impure spirits.
Mark 6:8 - When they left on their trip, they were commanded to take nothing except a walking stick; they were not allowed to bring any money or food in their bags.
Mark 6:9 - However, you should wear shoes, but only one jacket.
Mark 6:10 - He said, Whatever you are feeling when you get here, your feelings will remain the same until you change them.
